Ensuring Life-Saving Treatments Are Available

Since its establishment in 1998, the Northeast Florida AIDS Network (NFAN) has been a cornerstone of support and advocacy for individuals living with HIV and AIDS across Northeast Florida.  In partnership with Florida Health, the AIDS Drug Assistance Program (ADAP) provides support to low-income and underinsured individuals living with HIV, helping them access the medications necessary to maintain their health and preserve their quality of life.

ADAP ensures that life-saving treatments are available to those who might otherwise face financial or insurance barriers, supporting adherence to care and overall well-being. It is important to note that ADAP is not available to individuals who are incarcerated, in hospice care, or residing in a nursing home.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide compassionate leadership, services, and advocacy in meeting the prevention, health, spiritual, and social needs of individuals, families, and communities. As long as there is a need, NFAN is committed to our mission and stands ready to serve the community.
