The Bereavement Ministry at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic Church offers practical assistance and pastoral support to families as they prepare funeral and memorial services for a loved one. Services include guidance in selecting scripture readings, hymns, and other liturgical components to create a meaningful and personalized service to honor the life and faith of the deceased.
Providing Support Through The Funeral Process
The ministry also coordinates all church-related aspects of the service, including scheduling and organizing choir members. By overseeing these arrangements and providing support throughout the planning process, the Bereavement Ministry helps ensure that funeral and memorial services are conducted smoothly and respectfully.
