Improving the Community Through Health Planning and Education
Guided by a vision to help create the healthiest region in the State of Florida, the Health Planning Council of Northeast Florida (HPCNEF) is committed to improving community well-being through health planning, education, and collaboration. The council dedicates its resources to promoting health, analyzing health data, and fostering partnerships that strengthen access to care.
Serving residents in Baker, Clay, Duval, Flagler, Nassau, St. Johns, and Volusia counties, HPCNEF supports community health initiatives, including providing access to COVID-19 resources and administering the Covering Florida Navigator Program.
Helping Consumers Understand Health Coverage Options
Through the Covering Florida Navigator Program, individuals and families can receive free assistance in finding affordable health insurance through the Affordable Care Act (ACA) Marketplace. Certified Navigators offer guidance to help consumers understand their coverage options and make informed decisions about their healthcare needs.
Appointments with Navigators are available by phone or online and can be scheduled during weekdays, evenings, and weekends to accommodate a variety of schedules. Services provided include assistance with health insurance enrollment, post-enrollment support, consumer education, and reviewing available plans and financial assistance options.
