The Disaster Distress Helpline offers access to resources and referral support for individuals experiencing emotional distress due to disasters such as hurricanes, floods, wildfires, droughts, earthquakes, and disease outbreaks. 

Operated by SAMHSA (Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration), the helpline connects callers with multilingual counselors for assistance. It is also accessible via text and offers support for deaf or hard-of-hearing individuals.
