With Pellicer Creek on its southern boarder, Faver-Dykes Park offers a boat ramp accessible for kayaks, canoes, and small boats. The creek is one of the estuarine tidal marshes on the east coast of Florida, with both salt and fresh water fish, and home to over 100 bird species, including eagles, falcons, songbirds, and wading birds. During the spring and fall migration seasons, birdwatchers flock to the park to glimpse these stunning creatures in their natural habitat, along with deer, turkeys, bobcats, and river otters throughout the sand and woodland areas of the park.
