Feline Canopy of Care supports abandoned, stray, and homeless cats by addressing the many challenges they face. The organization works to reduce shelter euthanasia rates by encouraging adoption and fostering, ensuring more cats find safe and loving homes.

To protect the health and well-being of every feline in their care, they provide veterinary services, including vaccinations, medical testing, deworming, flea and parasite prevention, spay/neuter procedures, and additional treatments as needed. This commitment to thorough care helps each cat become healthy, socialized, and ready for adoption.

Encouraging Each Cat's Personality to Shine In a Positive Atmosphere

A key component of the organization’s mission is the Witty Whisker Cat Café, a warm and inviting space designed to foster positive interactions between visitors and adoptable cats. Featuring comfortable seating, soothing décor, and a variety of beverages and light snacks, the café creates a relaxed environment where potential adopters can get to know the cats outside of a traditional shelter setting.

This peaceful atmosphere allows each cat’s personality to shine, increasing the likelihood of successful adoptions. The Witty Whisker Cat Café, located at 112 Ponce De Leon Boulevard, St. Augustine, Florida 32084, is open Monday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Friday from 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m., Saturday from 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m., and Sunday from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Feline Canopy of Care, Inc. is an all-volunteer, foster-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization committed to ending the suffering of abandoned cats and kittens. Our mission is rooted in compassion, education, and advocacy. We work tirelessly to reduce the overpopulation of cats by promoting the importance of spaying and neutering as a humane alternative to euthanasia. Through our programs and outreach, we aim to ensure that every cat has the opportunity to live a healthy, safe, and loved life.

We are dedicated to educating the public about responsible pet ownership and providing resources to support the best care for animals. By fostering a community of awareness, compassion, and action, we strive to create a future where all cats are treated with dignity and respect. Together, with your support, we can make a lasting impact on the lives of cats in need. We are a No-Kill organization exclusively dedicated to rescuing and rehoming abandoned and stray cats and kittens. Our mission is to put an end to feline homelessness, neglect, and abuse.
