Helping Children Receive Financial Support

Collecting more than $1 billion in child support payments each year, the Florida Child Support Program helps children receive the financial support needed for their health, well-being, and future success. Serving families throughout the state, the program works collaboratively with parents, state and federal agencies, and private-sector partners to establish and enforce child support obligations by helping to establish paternity, creating and modifying child support orders, processing and distributing child support payments, and monitoring compliance with court-ordered support requirements.

Assisting with National and International Cases

Through ongoing case management and enforcement efforts, the program helps ensure that parents meet their financial responsibilities and that children receive consistent support. Florida's Child Support Program also assists families involved in interstate and international cases, making services available even when one parent resides in another state or country. This broad reach helps families navigate complex child support matters regardless of geographic location.

While the program provides extensive child support services, it does not have the authority to address custody or visitation issues. Parents seeking assistance with custody arrangements, visitation schedules, or other family law matters are encouraged to consult a qualified attorney or contact a local Family Law Self-Help Center for l support.
