Offering Free Vision Screenings and Eye Care Treatments

Serving low-income individuals whose household income is at or below 200% of the federal poverty level, the Florida Lions Eye Clinic (FLLEC) provides free vision screenings, procedures, and eye care treatments. Services offered include eye examinations, pediatric eye care, glaucoma and cataract treatment, surgical procedures, and other specialized vision services.

A team of volunteers and medical professionals supports the clinic by assisting with administrative operations, community outreach efforts, and the delivery of medical care to individuals in need. 

Eligibility

To qualify for services, patients must be Florida residents with low income, be uninsured, and provide proof of residency, such as a state identification card or driver’s license, along with a lease agreement or utility bill. Applicants must also verify their income by submitting documentation such as an employer letter, a recent tax return, or three recent pay stubs.
