Empowering Students and Community Members through Education

Guided by a vision to inspire environmental stewardship and nurture an appreciation for the natural beauty of Florida’s waterways, Florida Water Warriors provides hands-on conservation and education opportunities. One of the cornerstone offerings is a 90-minute group educational tour aboard a 22-passenger pontoon boat.

During these excursions, students are introduced to local wildlife and learn about the delicate balance of the region’s aquatic ecosystems. Scheduling is flexible based on availability, and financial assistance is available to ensure that all schools and groups can participate, regardless of their budget. Offering Pre-Tour and Post-Tour Lessons

Florida Water Warriors also leads the Marine Field Experience, an immersive 90-minute program designed to deepen curiosity and encourage exploration. This program features interactive activities, including wildlife scouting, plankton sampling, water quality testing, and guided discussions on conservation. Students not only observe their environment but also actively participate in scientific practices that strengthen their understanding. To book online, please visit here.

To extend the impact of these programs, Florida Water Warriors offers pre-tour and post-tour lessons that keep students engaged before and after their time on the water. These lessons include experiments using tools such as the Secchi disk, discussions on the effects of oil spills, and studies of marine life, including dolphins and plankton.
