Delivering Household Essentials and Educational Support to Children and Families
Foster Closet is a no-cost resource for foster families, offering support with household items, clothing, toys, and other essential supplies. Relying on the generosity of donors and the hard work of volunteers, Foster Closet serves hundreds of children annually from its expansive 10,000-square-foot facility. More than just a resource center, Foster Closet serves as a hub for advocacy and education.
The Pathway Program offers foster families structured guidance, resources, and educational tools, enabling them to navigate the often complex foster care system with confidence and compassion.
Building a Supportive Community for Foster Parents
The Mentorship Program pairs foster parents with experienced mentors who offer one-on-one guidance, share valuable insights, and provide personalized advice. This mentor connection encourages a supportive relationship where new or struggling foster parents can ask questions, gain perspective, and develop effective strategies.
Additionally, the Parent Support Group fosters a welcoming community where foster parents can share their experiences and offer one another advice and encouragement.
