Hope Florida

A statewide initiative that empowers Floridians in overcoming obstacles, fostering stability, and achieving lasting independence.

Helping Individuals Overcome Life’s Challenges

Hope Florida, established in 2021 by Casey DeSantis, wife of Florida’s 46th Governor, Ron DeSantis, is a transformative initiative dedicated to serving more than 100,000 residents across the state. Spearheaded by the Florida Department of Children and Families, Hope Florida operates across 42 locations and fosters collaboration among faith-based organizations, government agencies, nonprofit groups, businesses, and caring individuals.

This robust network provides resources and support to those in need, helping them to receive temporary housing, food, utility assistance, and more. Dedicated Hope Navigators assess the participant's goals, develop personalized action plans, connect them to local services, and create a long-term strategy to ensure success.

Supporting and Uplifting Single Parents, Veterans, Seniors, and Individuals with Disabilities

Hope Florida proudly serves single parents, veterans, seniors, individuals with disabilities, youth aging out of foster care, those receiving public assistance, and youth involved in the juvenile justice system. Single parents are given information about career development opportunities, mentorship, and childcare services.

In honor of veterans and their service to our nation, Hope Florida ensures that those who have served in the armed forces receive comprehensive guidance on available benefits and assistance navigating the application process. Volunteers from the Hope Heroes program offer seniors companionship and emotional support, fostering connection and helping combat loneliness.

Through community-based partnerships and accessible services, individuals with disabilities are empowered to maintain their independence. Youth aging out of foster care can receive mentorship, life skills training, and career development skills. Similarly, individuals receiving public assistance are connected to workforce training, educational opportunities, and career development resources.

For youth in the juvenile justice system, Hope Florida offers access to resources, guidance, and support services that facilitate their reintegration into society and encourage positive, constructive decision-making for growth and success.

To access services, individuals are encouraged to contact a Hope Navigator by calling the Hope Hotline at (833) 438-4673, where they will receive a compassionate, thorough assessment tailored to their specific circumstances and needs.
