Improving the Quality of Life For Those With Hearing Challenges
Serving low-income individuals and adults age 60 and older throughout Northeast Florida who are experiencing hearing challenges, Lend An Ear is dedicated to improving quality of life by increasing access to affordable hearing care.
Customized to Meet Specific Hearing Needs
Through community donations, including gently used hearing aids, Lend An Ear collects devices that are carefully refurbished by licensed audiologists and trained volunteers. Each hearing aid is professionally cleaned, repaired, calibrated, and customized to meet the specific hearing needs of the recipient.
Once prepared, the devices are fitted and provided to eligible individuals at little to no cost. To qualify for this program, individuals must have an income at or below 300% of the federal poverty level. To apply for assistance, please visit here.
