A Welcome Resource for Those Facing Food Insecurity

Since its founding in 1998, the Northeast Florida AIDS Network (NFAN) has served as a source of support and advocacy for individuals living with HIV and AIDS throughout Northeast Florida. The Mary H. Lewis Food Pantry recognizes that proper nutrition is necessary to help strengthen the immune system and improve treatment outcomes.

The pantry serves eligible residents of Clay, Duval, Nassau, and St. Johns Counties, offering a welcoming resource for those who may otherwise face food insecurity.

Elgibility

To receive services, clients must meet certain requirements. NFAN clients are asked to present their food voucher at the time of their visit. Individuals who have a case manager from another agency must have their case manager fax a copy of their Ryan White Card to the pantry.

For those without a case manager, documentation of their HIV/AIDS diagnosis must be provided along with a valid Social Security card.

Mission Statement

Our mission is to provide compassionate leadership, services, and advocacy in meeting the prevention, health, spiritual, and social needs of individuals, families, and communities. As long as there is a need, NFAN is committed to our mission and stands ready to serve the community.
