A Welcoming Environment for Locals and Visitors
Mickler's Landing Beachfront Park offers facilities and a beautiful beach ideal for sunbathing, swimming, and hunting shark teeth. Its natural charm and family-friendly atmosphere make it a popular spot for locals and visitors.
Offering Opportunities for Horseback Riding and Leashed Dog Walks
Located on the southern end of Ponte Vedra Beach, just north of the Guana Tolomato Matanzas Reserve, the park features a handicapped-accessible dune walkover connecting the parking area to the beach. Vehicle access is not permitted to preserve the beach’s natural environment.
Mickler's Landing also allows horseback riding during specific hours, but a special permit is required. The parking lot includes space for trucks and horse trailers, making it convenient for equestrian visitors. Dogs are welcome at Mickler's Landing but must always remain on a leash.
Visitors can refer to information from St. Johns County Beaches for additional details on beach rules and amenities.
