Ensuring Every Cat Receives the Medical Attention and Respect It Deserves

Murphy’s Kittens is a volunteer-driven organization dedicated to the welfare of cats in the community. Through compassionate programs including Trap-Neuter-Return (TNR), veterinary assistance, and hospice care, the group works tirelessly to reduce feline overpopulation, provide medical support, and ensure that every cat receives the care it deserves.

At the center of Murphy’s Kittens is its TNR program, a humane and effective method of population control. Volunteers safely trap community cats, transport them for spay or neuter surgery, administer vaccinations, and ear-tip each cat for easy identification. Once recovered, the cats are returned to their original location, where they can live out their lives without contributing to future litters.

This method not only improves the quality of life for the cats but also helps create healthier, more stable communities.

Delivering Long-Term Support for Medically or Behaviorally Challenged Cats

For cats who are not candidates for adoption due to serious medical conditions, advanced age, or behavioral challenges, Murphy’s Kittens offers a Feline Hospice Program. These special cats receive ongoing care, comfort, and attention in a peaceful, stress-free environment.

The goal is to provide them with quality of life, however long or short it may be. In addition to these core programs, Murphy’s Kittens offers financial assistance for veterinary care, helping community members afford essential treatments and procedures.
