Providing Affordable Therapy Sessions

Founded in 2012, Open Path is a nonprofit organization making mental health care accessible and affordable across the United States. To date, Open Path has matched more than 145,000 clients with licensed psychotherapists, helping individuals, couples, families, and groups access the support they need.

The organization offers mental health resources, courses, and wellness tools, in addition to providing affordable therapy sessions with licensed practitioners. Sessions typically range from $40.00 to $70.00, made possible through a one-time lifetime membership fee of $65.

Student intern therapists are also available at a lower rate of $30.00 per session, creating additional opportunities for accessible care. Open Path serves clients who are uninsured or underinsured, which removes barriers to treatment.

The network of mental health professionals offers approaches tailored to the needs of each client. Available modalities include, but are not limited to, 12-Step Facilitation Therapy, Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy (AEDP), Accelerated Resolution Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Adlerian Therapy, Brainspotting, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Couples and Family Systems Therapy, and more.
