Offering a Safe and Structured Environment
Designed to support individuals facing some of life’s most difficult challenges, City Rescue Mission’s Overcomers Program serves men, women, seniors, children, and those experiencing homelessness due to factors such as addiction, disability, mental illness, or financial hardship. Rooted in the belief that stable housing is foundational to a sense of security and belonging, the program provides 24-hour shelter in a safe, structured environment while equipping residents with the tools needed to rebuild their lives and achieve long-term independence.
Building Community Through Compassionate Care and Support Services
Beyond immediate shelter, the Overcomer’s Program provides supportive services designed to help individuals move toward stable, self-sustaining lives. Residents receive case management, employment assistance, and housing referrals, along with access to essential daily needs, such as laundry facilities, showers, and toiletries.
The program also emphasizes connection and community. Through social, recreational, and outdoor activities, residents can engage with others in meaningful ways, while spiritual guidance and opportunities for personal growth support overall well-being. Visitation is also available, helping residents maintain important relationships as they work toward greater stability and independence.
