Building Awareness, Breaking Barriers: Support for the Underinsured

Comprised entirely of dedicated volunteers, Pink Ribbon Jax works to raise funds that provide free mammograms throughout Jacksonville and the surrounding communities. The organization advocates for the early detection of breast cancer and offers support to individuals who have received a diagnosis.

In addition to offering mammograms, Jax contributed to the Baptist MD Anderson Cancer Center by helping fund its 3D Mammography Unit and supporting the purchase of advanced equipment designed to repair radiation-damaged cells. Jax’s impact goes further through continuous advocacy, education, and community support.

The organization hosts signature events, such as Light Jax Pink and the Annual Breast Cancer & Reconstruction Awareness Fundraiser, which raise awareness and generate resources to support patients throughout their breast cancer journey.
