Provides More Than Just a Place to Stay
Guided by faith-based values and a commitment to treating every individual with respect and dignity, City Rescue Mission (CRM) provides shelter care services that create a safe, supportive environment for men, women, and children in need. These services offer more than just a place to stay.
They provide opportunities for rest, renewal, and access to resources that support both emotional and physical well-being. Guests are welcomed with essentials such as a warm shower, a secure place to sleep, and the option to attend a nightly Chapel service, fostering a sense of community and encouragement.
Shelter check-in begins at 2:30 p.m., with meals thoughtfully scheduled to meet guests’ needs. Overnight guests are served dinner at 3:30 p.m. for women and 4:30 p.m. for men, along with breakfast the following morning.
Dinner and Clothing For Those In Need
For individuals who are not staying overnight but are in need of a meal, dinner is available daily from 4:30 p.m. to 5:30 p.m. at the New Life Inn, located at 234 W. State Street. In addition to meals and shelter, guests can access clothing through the Community Closet at the same location.
Open on Thursdays from 9:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m., the closet provides items to help individuals meet basic needs and regain a sense of comfort and confidence. For more information, please call (904) 421-5167 or email jwilliams@crmjax.org
