Emphasizing Skill Development and Teamwork
Serving youth across Baker County, Callahan, Fleming Island, Hilliard, Jacksonville, Mill Creek, Yulee, and Palm Coast, St. Augustine Little League provides opportunities for children to learn, play, and grow through baseball and softball programs. The league emphasizes skill development, teamwork, and sportsmanship, ensuring that each participant has a positive and engaging experience.
Board members and team managers carefully assess players’ skill levels to organize balanced teams, with special rules in place to maintain fairness and competitive play. Young athletes aged 10 may request to participate at the minor level, though such requests must be submitted in writing for consideration.
Seasonal Training and Programming
The league operates two main seasons: the Spring Season, with practices beginning in February and the season starting in March, typically featuring 2–3 games per week, and the Fall Season, running from September through November. All necessary equipment is provided to players, except for shoes and gloves, making it easy for children to participate.
