Recognizing the unique challenges of young pregnant women in vulnerable circumstances, the organization empowers mothers holistically to reduce poverty rates and enhance their personal and professional success.
At the core of St. Gerard Campus's mission is a range of services designed to support mothers throughout their pregnancy journey.
Offering Access to Childcare, Housing, and Resources
Recognizing young mothers' unique challenges, St. Gerard Campus supports and empowers them to build brighter futures for themselves and their children. At the heart of this mission is a licensed daycare center for the Department of Children and Families (DCF), which offers a safe, nurturing environment for infants and young children.
The daycare is available to mothers enrolled in St. Gerard's programs and families throughout the community. This invaluable service enables mothers to confidently focus on their education, employment, and personal growth, knowing their children are well cared for.
St. Gerard Campus also operates an accredited high school designed for pregnant teens and young mothers between the ages of 14 and 20. Along with this educational opportunity, the campus offers a residential program providing a stable, supportive living environment. Here, young mothers receive guidance in developing life skills, parenting education, and access to resources that promote independence and long-term success.
In addition to its educational and residential services, St. Gerard's Community Care Center assists families. The center offers supportive services, including the distribution of diapers, wipes, formula, clothing, and other essential baby items, all provided free of charge.
Adoption Services, Counseling, and Advocacy

This service includes counseling and support for expectant mothers exploring their options and ensuring they have access to the information and resources they need to make informed decisions about their futures.
