Providing Premier Equestrian Experiences

The St. Johns County Equestrian Center is managed and operated by the St. Johns County Horse Council (SJCHC), established in 1999 to promote responsible horse ownership and equine welfare. Through its stewardship, the center provides for equestrian activities in the area, providing a safe and welcoming environment for riders, horses, and visitors.

At the heart of the center’s mission is the protection and advocacy of horses, ensuring that their well-being is prioritized and their rights are preserved under the law. The SJCHC works diligently to uphold high care standards while fostering a deeper understanding and appreciation for these magnificent animals.

Serving as a Space for Meetings and Workshops

In addition to supporting equestrian enthusiasts, the St. Johns County Equestrian Center offers the general public valuable opportunities to learn about horses through various special events, clinics, and educational programs. The center is well-equipped with riding arenas suitable for multiple disciplines, from casual riding to competitive events.

A community center on-site enhances the facility’s offerings, serving as a space for meetings, educational workshops, and social events. Together, these resources create an inclusive space where people can learn and share their passion for horses in a supportive environment.
