Providing a Compassionate Environment

Since its founding in 1998, the Northeast Florida AIDS Network (NFAN) has been a trusted source of support, advocacy, and empowerment for individuals living with HIV and AIDS across Northeast Florida. NFAN offers support groups that provide safe, confidential, and compassionate environments where individuals can share their experiences, find encouragement, and connect with others.

The Princess Club

Created by members of the Healing Women support group, the Princess Club was designed for HIV-negative girls between the ages of five and fifteen. The program empowers young girls by helping them build self-confidence, develop leadership skills, and form friendships with peers.

Meeting twice a month on Saturdays, the Princess Club focuses on education and prevention, teaching participants about HIV awareness, pregnancy prevention, and how to make healthy, informed choices that lead to positive lifestyles. For more information, please call (904) 356-1612.

Healing Women & Men

The Healing Women & Men support group offers a safe and inclusive space for both men and women living with HIV or AIDS. Meeting on the first Thursday of each month from 12:30 p.m. to 1:30 p.m., this group provides participants with the opportunity to receive emotional support, build community connections, and engage in uplifting discussions.
