Coordinating Initiatives that Address Immediate Needs
Guided by four pillars, consisting of education, health, financial stability, and community resiliency, United Way is dedicated to improving the lives of thousands of individuals and families throughout St. Johns County. Through its efforts and partnerships, residents can acquire information on early childhood education, housing, disaster recovery, crisis intervention, financial counseling, emergency assistance, health and wellness programs, and more.
Additionally, the United Way encourages the public to play an active role in shaping solutions through campaigns, hands-on service projects, mentorship, and special community events. These opportunities enable volunteers to apply their unique skills and talents to make a difference in the lives of others.
A component of United Way’s support network is 211, a nationwide information and referral service operated locally by United Way. Serving millions, 211 connects individuals with community resources.
