Leading Youth on a Path of Faith
Since its founding in 1969, Young Life St. Augustine has been dedicated to introducing children and teenagers to the Holy Scripture and helping them form a deeper relationship with Christ. By providing a spiritual foundation, the organization seeks to guide young people on a faith journey, offering them hope, encouragement, and direction in a world that often presents challenges.
Through Bible studies, discussions on faith, and spiritual mentorship, Young Life aims to help youth understand and embrace Christian values, ultimately helping them discover their purpose and live a life grounded in their beliefs. A key component of Young Life St. Augustine’s work is its mentorship program, which contributes to the spiritual and personal development of the children and teens it serves. Mentors, many of whom are dedicated volunteers, build meaningful relationships with the youth, offering guidance, support, and encouragement.
Collaborating with Local Schools to Promote Education
Education is another pillar of Young Life St. Augustine’s outreach. The organization partners with local schools, including St. Augustine High School and Pedro Menendez High School, to allow students to learn more about Christianity and explore how their faith can intersect with their daily lives. In addition to religious education, Young Life integrates practical life skills, encouraging students to develop strong character, leadership abilities, and compassion for others.
